About the role
You own how NinjaChat looks and feels: the chat experience, image and video generation, the iOS app and the marketing site. You live in Figma and use AI like a limb: image gen for instant mockups, fast variants, designs that reach hundreds of thousands of people days after you draw them. Quick iteration, high quality bar, and taste. Taste is not negotiable here. You'd be the first designer, working directly with the founders and engineers.
What you'll do
- Design end to end, from idea to shipped UI in days
- Prototype with AI image gen: mockups in hours, not weeks
- Own the design system with engineering
- Simplify: cut what doesn't need to exist
What we're looking for
- Taste, with shipped work that proves it
- Fast in Figma, faster with AI tools
- Strong visual and interaction fundamentals
- You work directly with engineers, in their tools
Nice to have
- You prototype in code (React, Tailwind)
- You've designed AI products
